Certifications

Our products start as trees in the forest. But forests are more than just trees – they provide vital wildlife habitat, enhance water quality and provide places for people to enjoy the outdoors. To ensure that forests thrive in the future, we invest in them, employ industry best practices in forestry management and require our suppliers to demonstrate the same.

We will always work collaboratively with our partners to ensure the
long-term health of the forest.

Responsible Fiber Procurement

GreenFirst Forest Products subscribes to internationally recognized forestry standards with third party verification across our operations. In Canada, we operate across 6.1 million hectares of public and private forestlands, the majority owned by the Ontario provincial government in accordance with Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) (FSC®-C167905) Chain-of-Custody certification. To supply our manufacturing plants, we secure fiber from both public and private lands and procure from responsible sources through chain of custody certifications to ensure sustainable manufacturing.
