Lumber

We use the whole tree to make GreenFirst Forest Products – extracting full value from fiber in our lumber and paper operations. Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) (FSC®-C167905) Chain-of-Custody certification of GreenFirst lumber products is your assurance our fiber comes from responsible sources.

Softwood lumber – spruce, pine and fir

GreenFirst Forest Products proudly operates in Canadian forests, producing high-quality softwood lumber used mainly in construction.  GreenFirst produces a comprehensive range of high-quality spruce, pine and fir dimensional lumber products (SPF lumber).  All species and grades are available as Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified – your assurance our products are made with fiber from responsible sources.

We serve residential and commercial construction markets as well as the industrial market, which includes manufacturers of trusses, siding, pallets and other products. Our light, strong SPF lumber is the preferred choice of customers worldwide.

With four operating sawmill operations in Ontario, GreenFirst is positioned to serve customers in North American and international markets with both:

      • Stud lumber (used in construction)
